Kerala, a land blessed with golden sun, extensive coastline, luscious greens and an engaging culture. The natural beauty of some places is breathtaking. I have traveled across the state, enjoying its tranquil backwaters, delicious food and also the traditional architecture. It is a superb and memorable experience.

The roads of Kerala offer another treat… its decorated trucks with colourful patterns and bold hand lettering. They command your attention with their striking design forms and bright colour schemes. They make a style statement of their own. I got the opportunity to visit a place in Alleppey (Alappuzha) that did these painting jobs. It was entertaining at the same time inspiring to see these artists paint impulsively and skillfully.

I also noticed that people here deck their vehicles in an interesting fashion. Their colour schemes, lettering, styles, everything is unique and delightful.
